OUT OF STOCK ITEMS

At Kingston Lighting we try our best to maintain high levels of inventory, however, occasionally products may run out of stock. We will notify you of out of stock items within 1 business day after your order has been placed.

PAYMENT TERMS

All orders must be paid upon order remittance.  Once you place your order, you can pay by VISA, Mastercard or Debit through our website.

REFUSING ORDERS

We reserve the right to refuse any order you place with us. We may, in our sole discretion, limit or cancel quantities purchased per person, per household or per order.

In the event that we make a change to or cancel an order, we will attempt to notify you by contacting the e-mail and/or billing address/phone number provided at the time the order was made.

We reserve the right to limit or prohibit orders that, in our sole judgment, appear to be placed by dealers, resellers or distributors.

ERRORS, INACCURACIES AND OMISSIONS

Occasionally there may be information on our site or in the Service that contains typographical errors, inaccuracies or omissions that may relate to product descriptions, pricing, promotions, offers, product shipping charges, transit times and availability. We reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions, and to change or update information or cancel orders if any information in the Service or on any related website is inaccurate at any time without prior notice (including after you have submitted your order).

Shipping

SHIPPING AREA

At this time, we only offer shipping within Canada.

PROCESSING TIME

After an order is placed, it will be processed and shipped within 1-2 business days.

SHIPPING TIME

Orders will typically be delivered between 2-5 days after they have been processed, although these times could be longer in rural areas.

SHIPPING FEES

Shipping fees are calculated at checkout. Orders with a subtotal (before tax) of $250 or more are shipped free of charge. Orders under $250 will be charged a flat rate of $25.

Refunds & Returns

RETURNS

We accept returns of some items up to 10 days after the product has been received. Products must be in their original packaging and in re-sellable condition to avoid re-stocking fees. Returns will be processed through Z-Lite. To process your return please e-mail customerservice@z-lite.com or call 1-800-681-9943 to speak to a customer service representative. Please have the following information prepared:

  • Z-Lite Customer Number/ Name on Account.
  • Original PO Number or Z-Lite Invoice Number.
  • Reason for the Return.

FREIGHT DAMAGED ITEMS

Items being delivered that are visibly damaged, cartons dented, creased, caved in, torn or punctured, should have the delivery receipt bill noted that shipment has come damaged, without this we cannot place a claim with any carrier, and this could result in return being denied.

If you feel the items are damaged beyond being salvageable and you prefer to refuse delivery you again need to note this on the delivery receipt bill along with the reason for the refusal.

Freight damage should be immediately reported with copies of the delivery receipt noting the damage and any photos you are able to provide.

All Damaged and or Defective Items must be reported to customer service within 10 days from the date the fixture is received. Please note that if a customer refuses replacement (parts or fixture) for a damaged or defective item, the item falls under a Buyer’s Remorse Return (see below).

    • Damaged/Defective Items Include:
      • Broken Glass.
      • Scratches/Blemishes in finish.
      • Non-functioning Items.
    • Damaged/Defective Items Do NOT Include:
      • Buyer’s Remorse Items – Please See Buyer’s Remorse Returns information below.
      • Items that have been altered by customer.
      • Damaged due to negligence (i.e. Improper installation).
      • Damaged due to improper cleaning/care

BUYER’S REMORSE RETURNS

A 25% restocking fee will apply to all buyer’s remorse returns. Return shipping is at the expense of the customer.

Goods returned for credit on your Z-Lite account must be returned in the original packaging including all parts, not installed and in “saleable” condition before credit will be issued.

If a product is returned in non-saleable condition, you will have 10 days to respond with your choice to have us destroy the product or to ship the product back to the customer or your office. Shipping to return the products is at your expense.
